Waterwise Checkmark for Offices

In 2023, we were awarded the Waterwise Checkmark for Offices accreditation. The Checkmark scheme is awarded to office buildings, or parts of office buildings, that have in place the right technologies, signage, and engagement programmes to encourage water-efficient behaviours and reduce water waste within the office environment. This is one of the 12 commitments for our 2023/24 Sustainability Plan.

Utility Week Awards

In 2022, our Bilateral Transactions Programme team were shortlisted for Team of the Year in the Utility Week Awards for their work to resolve one of the primary causes of friction in the non-household water market: how two-way (bilateral) processes are handled between retailers and wholesalers.

In 2021, MOSL was shortlisted for Utility Week’s Employer of the Year to recognise our wellbeing and digital support to colleagues during COVID-19.

RWG Awards

In 2019 Simon Bennett was awarded the Andrew Bamber Award for his contribution to the success of the Retailer Wholesaler Group (RWG) and the retail market and Chris Dawson was awarded Best RWG Chair for his work with the Policy Group.

Engagement Excellence Awards

In 2018, MOSL won Reward Gateway’s Most Creative Comms for Smaller Organisations Award for our colleague intranet site MyMO. The engagement platform was modelled around what's important to our business as a day-to-day communication channel, a culture hub and wellbeing portal. It is also a place for reward and recognition that enabled us to build a connected workforce that is more engaged, productive and innovative.

Praise for MOSL

We're delighted to have awarded MOSL's Southampton office our Checkmark for Offices award! This award recognises and rewards those offices who are committed to excellence in water efficiency and MOSL's Southampton office certainly are. We were particularly impressed with the water saving culture being created at the Southampton office through constant water-saving tips being shared, as well as activities and conversations being held across the organisation linked to their wider Sustainability Plan. It's especially critical for organisations in the water sector like MOSL to practice what they preach and be water efficiency 'role models' to other businesses to inspire and empower them to take action in light of the challenges our water resources face.
