Simon Powell

Simon has over 25 years of IT experience covering diverse technology disciplines including infrastructure, ERP, data security, AI & analytics, IT risk management and applications.

Most recently Simon was the Head of IT Infrastructure for 3M in EMEA and Latin America that included managing their company’s technology response to the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

While at 3M, Simon led the European data insights team, helped deploy SAP ERP & lived in the UAE to manage the Middle East & Africa IT organisation.

In addition to leading IT organisations, Simon is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, leading programmes to drive supply chain, back-office and customer process efficiencies.

Outside of work, Simon is kept busy with his young family.  He enjoys football, cricket, kayaking and playing the guitar.
