Bilateral Hub

Summary of this change

CPW139& CPM051: The previous tranche of the Bilaterals Hub under CPW070 & CPM043 (Bilateral Transactions) delivered 16 processes of the Operational Terms on a new technical platform, supplemented by improved market code drafting, redesigned workflows, more appropriate and consistent service level agreements (SLAs) and transparent reporting. However, whilst the full benefits review of CPW070 & CPM043 demonstrated significant time, cost and resource savings had been realised across the market, 49 processes of the Operational Terms still only functioned outside the Bilateral Hub.  Therefore, this phase of the bilateral transaction programme aims to standardise, combine and/or streamline the remaining processes of the Operational Terms and bring them into the Bilateral Hub. This will enable Wholesalers to decommission legacy systems and realise the full potential of one central system.

CPW139 and CPM051 will be delivered in phases and is currently planned as follows:

• CPW139a (Allowances and Adjustments) : Implemented on 20 June 2023
• CPW139b (Verifications) : Implemented on 27 September 2023
• CPW139c (Dis/Re-connections) : Implemented on 12 December 2023
• CPW139d (Assessments) : Implemented on 12 December 2023
• CPW139e (Miscellaneous): Implemented on 13 March 2024
• CPW139f (Accredited Entities, Planned & Unplanned events, additional enhancements part 1): Implemented on 26 June 2024
• CPW139g (additional enhancements part 2): Implemented on 2 October 2024
• CPW139h (additional enhancements part 3): Implemented on 13 December 2024
• CPW139i (additional enhancements part 4): Recommended by the CCC on 16 January 2024 and due to be delivered in two tranches in March and December 2025
