Bilateral Transactions

Summary of this change

CPW070 & CPM043: This change standardises interactions between market participants through the use of the 'Bilateral Hub' technology solution.

The overall programme and framework for the design and development of the Bilateral Hub is covered by CPW070 & CPM043. The project is being delivered in multiple phases (e.g. CPW070x & CPM043x) delivered under an agile timetable. Each phase produces Draft and Final Recommendation Reports for approval by Ofwat:

• Project set up: Phase 1 (Completed 31 Oct 2020)
• CPW070a & CPM043a: Phase 2 - Enables the Bilateral Hub and Process C1 (Implemented 22 Sep 2021)
• CPM070a-1: Phase 2 Addendum - Changes and clarifications to CPW070a (Implemented 22 Sep 2021)
• CPW070b-1: Phase 2 Additional functionality (Implemented 2 Feb 2022) and Phase 3 - Process B5 (Implemented 31 May 2022)
• CPW070c: Phase 3 - Processes F4, F5 and G1 (Implemented 31 May 2022)
• CPW070d: Phase 4 - Processes B1, B3 and B7 (Implemented on 2 August 2022 minus B3, see CPW070f)
• CPW070e: Bilateral submissions, general clarifications to processes and housekeeping (superseded by CPW070f)
• CPW070f: Bilateral submissions, general clarifications to processes, housekeeping and holding back the Process B3 (Implemented 2 August 2022 in place of CPW070e)
• CPW070g: Phase 6 - Processes  C2, C3, C5, C6 G2, G3, G5 and G6 (Implemented on 29 November 2022)
