Cyclic Read Skip Codes

Summary of this change

CPW162 seeks to mandate standard reasons for not providing an actual cyclic read and collect these in a centralised market system such as CMOS.

The Code Change Committee accepted CPW162 into the change process in April 2025. An initial consultation concluded on 1 August 2025 and a second consultation on the proposed solution concluded on 28 November 2025. At its meeting in November 2025, the CCC approved a replan of this change and expects to make its recommendation to Ofwat in February 2026 with a view to implement in December 2026.
