Electoral Constituencies dashboard

This dashboard has been developed to raise awareness of water scarcity and leverage our market insight to support and drive effective engagement on the business retail market (BRM) with parliamentarians and other political stakeholders. Users can search and view supply points (SPIDs) and consumption by member of parliament, constituency, trading party and postal sector. Visualisations are shown by water deficit.

Water deficits shown in the dashboard are baseline forecasts from Water Resource Management Plans (2019) submissions. Baseline forecasts give an indication of the maximum forecast dry year situation deficit (if any) for the first 25 years of the company's planning period as a percentage of demand (distribution input) without investment from the water industry. Interventions by water companies outlined in their water resource management plans aim to address these forecast deficits. Please note that this data does not reflect the actual current resource position, but instead gives an indication of the water resources pressures faced.
