Service Components dashboard

The chargeable services provided to the business retail market (BRM) can be split into five service components relating to water supply and seven relating to sewerage. All market supply points (SPIDs) have at least one service component and many have multiple. This dashboard provides insight into each component, including a breakdown of overall services provided by each wholesaler, and the rate of component utilisation amongst different wholesalers. As of August 2025, there are a total of around 3,850,000 service components and 1,230,000 water supply points with metered potable water services. Definitions of each service component are on the About page. This data is accurate as at the first business day of the month and is updated on or before the 9th business day of each month.
