Shaun Kent

Shaun is a Director at Ofwat and his career background is in utility regulation and regulatory economics.  Prior to Ofwat, Shaun worked as an economist at both Ofcom and Ofgem.  His work here particularly concerned improving market and customer outcomes, with a period of work at Ofcom on purely customer facing issues.  Alongside Dan Mason, Shaun is responsible for Ofwat policy regarding the development and functioning of the business retail market and that Ofwat meets its obligations here.  Shaun presently leads on market incentives, market monitoring, and retail price protections.
