Andrew Beaver

Andrew joined Northumbrian Water in August 2020 as Regulation and Assurance Director. Prior to joining the company he worked in a variety of roles across both the private and public sector and has a background in economics and finance.

Until 2016 Andrew was Director of Strategy at Ofwat, the economic regulator of water and wastewater services in England and Wales. Whilst in that role he led a number of the organisations’ key activities seeking to ensure that the sector delivered against the expectations of customers, wider society and the environment. 

After leaving Ofwat he joined the infrastructure team at KPMG where he worked for four years as a Director providing economic and financial advice to companies, regulators, investors and consumer groups in a wide range of sectors.
