Strategic Panel Nominations
The Strategic Panel is the most senior industry group. It promotes, challenges and leads the operation and evolution of the market for the benefit of current and future non-household customers. The Strategic Panel is made up of market and water industry experts and independent members who bring a wealth of expertise.
In March 2025, the Panel Nominations Committee (PNC) invited Trading Parties to submit nominations for the current Wholesaler Member vacancy on the Strategic Panel and the window to submit nominations was from 9am on 12 March until 9am on 2 April.
One nomination was received and the nominee’s details can be found below.
In line with the approach and timetable for the recruitment and the requirements under the Market Arrangements Code (MAC), the PNC met on 9 April 2025 to review the candidate’s application and to determine the candidate’s suitability to progress through the next round on the recruitment process. The PNC agreed to take the candidate through to interview.

Appointment
Appointment as a Strategic Panel Member is conditional upon receipt of:
- A confirmation letter from the nominee that they are prepared to stand as a Strategic Panel Member
- A release letter from their employer recognising their obligations as a Strategic Panel Member may override their obligations as an employee.
