The Panel Nominations Committee (PNC), which is the committee responsible for the selection and appointment of Trading Party Strategic Panel members, is now inviting Trading Parties to nominate suitable candidates for the vacancies occuring (two Retailer and one Wholesaler positions) on the Strategic Panel with effect from the end of existing members terms of office on 1 March 2026.

The window to submit nominations opened at 8am on 03 November 2025 and runs until 6pm on 21 November 2025.
Trading Parties wishing to make a nomination, should download and complete the nomination form. Please note that nominees will be expected to provide a summary of the nominee’s skills, experience and an explanation of why they are suitable to be a Trading Party Strategic Panel Member. This summary will be published on the MOSL website. All nomination forms and a copy of the nominee's CV must be submitted to people@mosl.co.uk by 6pm on Friday, 21 November.
The PNC will meet on 1 December 2025 to review nominations and shortlist candidates suitable to progress through the selection process. Following shortlisting, the PNC will conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates. Interviews are expected to be held in person in London on 28 and 29 January. Following the conclusion of the interview process, the PNC will reconvene to agree preferred candidates for appointment to the Panel. Outcomes are expected to be communicated to candidates no later than 11 February 2026 with appointments effective from 01 March 2026.

Appointment
Appointment as a Strategic Panel Member is conditional upon receipt of:
- A confirmation letter from the nominee that they are prepared to stand as a Strategic Panel Member
- A release letter from their employer recognising their obligations as a Strategic Panel Member may override their obligations as an employee.
