Strategic Panel Nominations

The Panel Secretary hereby notifies trading parties that a Strategic Panel Nomination Meeting will be held on Friday 8 October 2021.

Following the implementation of code change CPM039/CPW124: ‘Revisions to Panel Composition’, a Panel Nominations Committee (PNC) was created to appoint the Strategic Panel members. Following the appointment of Trisha McAuley OBE as the Strategic Panel Chair, the PNC are now inviting trading parties to nominate suitable candidates for the two retailer and two wholesaler seats.

Panel nominations process and timeline

The PNC will review nominations and shortlist candidates suitable to progress through the selection process.

For more information on the PNC, Strategic Panel appointment process and timetable, please visit our dedicated Panel Nomination Committee webpage.

How to nominate

Wholesalers and retailers are invited to nominate candidates for their respective constituencies by downloading and completing the nomination form below.

Nominees will be expected to provide a summary of their skills, experience and an explanation of why they are suitable to be a trading party Strategic Panel Member. This summary, along with the nominees’ name and trading party, will be published on this page. Please note that nominees CVs will not be published.

Completed nominations forms and candidate CVs should be emailed to MOSL’s HR department.

Nominations must be received by 6pm on Friday 1 October 2021.

Appointment

Appointment as a Strategic Panel Member is conditional upon receipt of

  • a confirmation letter from the nominee that they are prepared to stand as a Strategic Panel Member and
  • a release letter from their employer recognising their obligations as a Strategic Panel Member may override their obligations as an employee.

Candidates are requested to submit these letters before the Strategic Panel Nomination Meeting to avoid delay in appointments. Please use the templates below for Confirmation and Release letters.
