Catchment and river health map
This interactive map shows the Ecological Health Status for each of the 101 Surface Water Management Catchments (SWMCs) across England along with Water Company operational boundaries. The Ecological Health Status is an assessment taken from Defra's Plan For Water and expressed in percentage value where 0% is worst and 100% is best. It is grouped in five bands: 0%-5%, 5%-10%, 10%-25%, 25%-50% and 50%-100%. The map allows users to search addresses to view the SWMC data for specific locations. Users can zoom into areas of interest and click on the map for further information. Last update 02/01/2024 16:28.
