Collated view of smart enabled meters by postal sector

Beta version: Proportion of business retail market (BRM) meters that are SmartAMI (smart enabled/smart live) by postal sector map

The interactive map below presents a view of the proportion of total business retail market (BRM) meters within each postal sector by wholesaler region that are classified as SmartAMI in the central market system (CMOS). SmartAMI meters, also defined as 'smart enabled' or 'smart live' are meters that have been successfully connected to the network and are actively sending smart meter reads.

Postal sectors within each wholesaler region are visualised by percentage bandings, the darker shading denoting areas with high rates of smart metering and the lighter shading indicating lower rates of smart metering. Users can search and zoom into specific areas and click on the map to discover further information about the selected postal sector by wholesaler including planned start and end dates for smart metering, current proportion of BRM meters that are working as smart within the selected area and wider context on the wholesaler’s smart approach and targets.
