MOSL is pleased to announce the launch of its new Query Management System (QMS), My MOSL.
My MOSL, which has been developed as part of our Channel Management improvement programme, allows users to raise queries and service requests through the MOSL website using their own business credentials via Single Sign On (SSO). The system is being implemented in a phased approach, beginning with the integration of the Unplanned Settlement Run (USR) process which has previously been managed using the Kissflow platform.
Contract Managers, registered Kissflow users, and those who have previously raised Unplanned Settlement Requests (USRs) have received invitations to their organisation's email addresses, which allow them to sign up to access the system via their own email addresses, without the need for their MOSL partner account or to enter a password.
This launch is the first step in the introduction of a QMS, which is a commitment made in our 2021-24 Business Plan. Following the launch of the USR process, we will also look to migrate the Medium Volume Interface (MVI) from the MO Portal to My MOSL. This is expected to take place in mid-June and will also require users to be signed up for the Microsoft Azure Tenant (Single Sign On (SSO)).
Whilst we encourage all trading parties to start raising USRs through My MOSL from today, we will be running a cutover process for USRs in Kissflow during June. From 24 June, we will close the USR process in Kissflow so it is important users are familiar with the new system by this time.
Lyvia Nabarro, MOSL's Head of Market Engagement and Communications said: "I'm very pleased to be launching the first process as part of My MOSL in what is just the next phase in how we make our systems and services more accessible to trading parties. It's our aim to make the website - which was well received by members when it launched in April last year - the 'single front door' for trading parties to access our services - a core part of our role as market operator. We've started with the USR process as this is our highest volume process and should deliver immediate benefits to a number of trading parties. My MOSL is part of our commitment to Service Excellence and I look forward to developing and rolling out more processes in the coming months. I'd like to thank the trading party Beta Group members for working with us and supporting the testing of the USR process. As with everything we do, we encourage trading parties to share their feedback and let us know what improvements they want to see!"
As we move into Phase 3 of the Channel Management programme, we will be focusing on ‘general queries’ – these are queries raised through our Bilaterals, Operations, IT Support and Performance Mailboxes - giving members greater visibility of the queries they raise across MOSL and their progress and resolution. In Q1 we will be gathering the requirements for this and the next prioritised process – the Disputes process – which will also be moved across from Kissflow in 2022/23. We will also continue to work with the trading party Beta Group to support the development and testing of this next phase.
