MOSL is publishing a new set of metering dashboards to provide a central source of truth regarding metering data for the market. These dashboards follow-on from the data quality and vacancy dashboards published May 2021.
The new dashboard will provide trading parties with further insight to encourage discussions and support the development of potential solutions for metering challenges. They will also help to improve our overall understanding of the metering estate within the market to inform MOSL’s Strategic Metering Review and wider market improvement activities.
This is the first step towards providing ‘self-serve’ data on metering performance and give trading parties a better view of issues surrounding metering, such as long unread meters, allowing for peer comparison.
The metering dashboards can be found on the MO Portal.
A guidance document with details on how to use this dashboard can be found on the MOSL website.
If you have any questions regarding the new metering dashboard, please contact
MOSL’s Market Analyst, Milo Halford, will be presenting an overview on MOSL’s new dashboards at the British Water Real-Time Monitoring Focus Group on 1 September 2021. Visit the British Water website for more information.
