Waterwise launched the UK Water Efficiency Strategy Group in 2017 with the aim of reducing water waste to maximise its economic, social and enviromental value. Sarah will formally take up the role on 14 September and is looking forward to championing the group and its work across the sector.

In taking on the role, Sarah said: "I am delighted to have been asked to Chair this important senior group. With the challenges we are currently facing with drought and the very real threat of climate change, it is essential that we all take action -  as individuals, as small businesses, as big corporations, as well as central government. Waterwise is the leading authority on water efficiency in the UK. I look forward to working more closely with the organisation and its stakeholders as we promote the importance of water efficiency and put our ambition into action."
