MOSL has published its Sustainability Quarterly Report for the fourth quarter of 2024/25. The report features an overview of performance against each of the four key areas and progress against the 12 commitments in our 2024/25 Sustainability Plan.

Highlights for the quarter include:

  • Reducing water demand: we continue to support the delivery of the National Metering Strategy, including reviewing leakage allowances for smart meters. MOSL also joined Ofwat's new Smart Water Delivery Group to help drive the successful roll out of smart meters and is working with RWG to develop a consistent approach to communicating with customers before, during, and after rollout.
  • Climate Change: We installed LED lighting in our offices, which will save money and support our building’s ambition to become an A-rated EPC-rated and BREEAM Excellent premises.
  • Waste and recycling: we took part in the Great British Spring Clean campaign. Activities included a group litter pick; a spring clean of our offices - recycling and donating equipment to our charity partner, No Limits - and a digital spring clean of files and meeting recordings, to reduce our digital and carbon footprint.
  • Data Insight: we extended our proof of concept solution for collating smart meter implementation rollout plans following consultation and input from trading parties.

In June, we will share our Sustainability Annual Report. For the first time, this report will include a summary of our activities in 2025/26 as we transition to a two-year sustainability reporting cycle.

All of our quarterly reports can be found on the Sustainability Key Documents page on our website.
