MOSL has published its response to Ofwat's consultation on performance commitments for wholesalers during the PR24 (2025-30) price control period.

In our response we highlighted our support for Ofwat’s proposals to a) focus on fewer commitments and b) for more commitments to be applied across all wholesalers. Our key message was that it is crucial PR24 rebalances companies’ focus on non-household as well as household customers.

We called for additional performance commitments, including around meter asset health to provide an equal incentive across all household and non-household meter sizes to ensure they are accurate, can be easily read and are able to support commonly used technology for improved data collection.

We look forward to continuing this conversation in the coming months so that PR24 can set out clear obligations and incentives for water companies to reinvigorate competition and deliver value and choice for non-household customers.
