On the 27 March 2023, MOSL issued its Annual Trading Party Survey continuing to build on understanding how members rate our performance against the services as part of our Market Services Framework.
As well as building on the feedback from the Annual Trading Party Survey 2022, our March 2023 survey also built on questions and feedback included in our Mid-Year Trading Party Survey October 2022. This related to our engagement and communication and was an opportunity for trading parties to feedback and help build our knowledge on how easy MOSL was to engage with and insight on how we could continue to improve.
We would like to thank those trading parties who responded to this survey. In total we received 27 responses, representing 96.7 per cent market share for wholesalers and 73.5% market share for retailers. Overall, respondents rated MOSL's performance as market operator an average score of 3.9 (on a 1-5 scale from ‘very dissatisfied’ to ‘very satisfied’), this was a slight decrease on the 4.0 average score from the Annual Trading Party Survey 2022.
All MOSL’s core service areas and engagement had movement based on ratings from trading parties, We have dropped our scores in two service areas (Market Assurance and Market Improvement) while all other areas have scored higher than last year, see below for an overview.
