MOSL has published its Quarterly Report for the first quarter of 2024/25. This is the first report tracking against commitments in our 2024-27 Business Plan. The report features an overview of performance against our key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress in the improvement programmes for this financial year.

This quarter, 20 KPIs are performing at or above target and just one below target. This is the metric for our employee net promoter score (eNPS), which currently sits at 49, just missing our target of 50. The report also shows that we have completed 25% of our improvement programme milestones for the year – putting us on track in the first quarter.

Key deliverables this quarter include:

  • Market Performance Framework (MPF) Reform: MOSL presented the Governance (Part A) and Non-Financial Tools (Part B) of the proposed framework to the Code Change Committee, which was approved and recommended for Ofwat approval.
  • Bilateral Transactions Programme: We successfully launched Phase 12 (CPW139f) into the Bilateral hub. This introduced the first batch of general enhancements to the hub which MOSL is delivering on top of the original programme scope, as the programme is tracking ahead of schedule and within budget.
  • Data Assurance Service: MOSL carried out the first Market Eligibility Data Quality Audit (DQA) and published the outputs on the MOSL website.

At the end of Q1, there are varying completion percentages for MOSL’s improvement programmes. We report 43% completion for the Bilateral Transactions Programme, while MPF Reform tracks at 17%. This is due to the weighting of milestones across each quarter, meaning that Bilaterals has fewer milestones in Q2-4 as it transitions into business as usual. The MPF Reform programme has more milestones later in the year, with Q1 focused on preparation.

All of our quarterly updates can be found on our Quarterly Reports webpage.
