The Code Change Committee (CCC) has today published a consultation on improving the code change process. Stakeholders are invited to respond using the online form.
The CCC proposes amendments to the market code change process to facilitate effective, targeted changes which deliver benefits to current and future customers. This is in line with the Strategic Panel’s mandate to the CCC.
Anthony Pygram, Chair of the CCC said: “The change process is a key tool to develop the market and opportunities to change it don’t happen often. The committee agreed on many aspects of the proposed process but differed in some areas so are keen to hear stakeholder’s views.”
Due to the launch just before Christmas and MOSL’s business plan consultation in January, the consultation will run until 6pm on Monday 30 January.
A dedicated webinar to give more detail on the proposals was held on Friday 20 January. You can download the slides, recording and outputs here.
The CCC will consider consultation feedback before confirming the new process, which it will seek to implement in the first half of 2023.
