Maximising the amount of timely, accurate meter reads and granular consumption data is key to the non-household market’s drive to improve water efficiency, identify and tackle leakage and enable retailers to develop innovative tariffs.
As a member of the Metering Committee you will be supporting MOSL and the Strategic Panel by overseeing the delivery of strategic programmes relating to Enhanced Metering Technology and Metering Roles and Responsibilities.
You will also have the opportunity to sponsor or support the delivery of one or more of the latest ‘quick start’ initiatives, which are considering issues and opportunities at each step of the metering process, from assessing standard meter location data and the use of ‘What3Words’ to expanding the definition of ‘visual’ meter reads.

The Strategic Panel has instructed the Metering Committee Chair to work with MOSL to review nominations and shortlist candidates to progress through the selection process. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Metering Committee Chair and other members of the Strategic Metering programme.
