At the end of August, we ran a nominations process for the appointment of the Unassociated Retailer position of the MOSL Board, as Jo Dow’s term comes to an end this month.
We received four nominations for the position. Following a voting process with unassociated retailer members, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Pendle, Managing Director of Waterscan, as the new Non-Executive Director of the MOSL Board, elected by members. Neil succeeds Jo, CEO of Business Stream, who completes a three-year term on 17 September.
Neil’s appointment takes effect from 18 September 2024.
Neil joins the Board with nearly 30 years’ experience in the water industry, having founded Waterscan from a start-up business in 1994 to the largest water management consultancy in the UK.
Neil has a deep understanding of the water sector and is familiar with industry trends, governance and best practices, as well as ongoing and close working relationships with business customers.
Neil has been a member of the Disputes Committee since 2017, is a member of the Market Performance Committee, and also serves on the MPF Reform Programme Steering Group, and Market Improvement Fund Selection Committee.
On behalf of the Board, MOSL would like to thank Jo for the contribution she has made to MOSL and the progression of the market over the last three years.
