It comes following the implementation of code change CPM039/CPW124: ‘Revisions to Panel Composition' and the creation of a Panel Nominations Committee (PNC) to appoint the Strategic Panel members.
On 3 September we announced Trisha McAuley OBE was appointed as the Strategic Panel Chair and now invite trading parties to nominate suitable candidates for the two retailer and two wholesaler seats.
The PNC is looking for senior executive level nominations with experience of strategic decision making. The Trading Party Strategic Panel Member role description is available on the Strategic Panel Nominations web page and trading parties wishing to make a nomination, should download the nomination form.
Due to the decision to create both a Strategic Panel and a Code Change Committee, the Strategic Panel will be able to focus on facilitating innovative programmes which will aim to improve the outcomes of non-household customers. By removing the technical and transactional responsibilities for this group, it will enable the Strategic Panel to be more efficient and effective and have a clear focus on strategic priorities.
Please note that nominees will be expected to provide a summary of the nominee’s skills, experience and an explanation of why they are suitable to be a trading party Strategic Panel Member. As part of our commitment to openness and transparency, please note this summary will be published on the MOSL website. All nomination forms and a copy of the nominee’s CV must be submitted by 6pm on Friday 1 October 2021.
The Panel Nomination Meeting will be held on Friday 8 October 2021 and appointments are expected to be made at the end of October/early November.
For more information on the PNC, Strategic Panel appointment process and timetable, please visit our dedicated Panel Nomination Committee webpage on the MOSL website.
