MOSL has just published its Quarterly Report for the third quarter of 2023/24. The report features an overview of performance against our key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement programmes for this financial year.

The KPI report shows 20 KPIs at or above target and just one, within Market Assurance, outside of target. With an overall programme completion of 78%, the report also provides confidence that all improvement programmes are on track for their end of year deliverables.

Key deliverables this quarter include:

  • Bilateral Transactions Programme: We successfully launched Phase 9 (CPW139c) and 10 (CPW139d) into the Bilateral hub. As a joint release, this introduced disconnections and reconnections processes, along with assessments processes, and saw the final existing OPS processes delivered into the hub.
  • Data Assurance Service: Formerly the ‘Data Cleanse Service’, MOSL’s Data Assurance programme launched its review of premises deemed highly likely to be ineligible for the market. The review gives wholesalers 12 months to review supply points and work with retailers to deregister ineligible premises to improve the quality of data in the market.
  • Modernisation of Market Systems: MOSL successfully migrated the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) to Microsoft Azure as part of the CMOS rehost.

At the end of Q3 the Modernisation of Market Systems programmes shows a 91% completion. The remaining 9% includes the hypercare period following the rehost. We moved out of hypercare at the end of January, marking the completion of this programme’s deliverables for 2023/24. As such, there are no remaining deliverables for Q4.
