On 22 November 2019, MOSL published its draft 2020/21 Business Plan for consultation, asking members and stakeholders to provide feedback on the commitments set out through the plan’s key themes; Service Excellence, Market Assurance, Market Improvement, Governance and Building Capability.

We also asked an additional question to understand members’ views on the MOSL-led bilateral transactions project.

Overall we received 27 formal responses through our online consultation form and further response letters from key industry bodies.

We were encouraged by the broad support for each of the key themes of our plan, as well as the overarching theme of making the market an easier place to do business in. The input received has proved incredibly valuable to us as we have worked to finalise our 2020/21 business plan.

We are committed to increasing transparency and being open in the way we operate. As part of this commitment, we are publishing the anonymised responses received through the consultation along with the letters we received from the Panel, Ofwat and CCWater.

Our consultation response document also outlines the summary of responses we received and how we have reflected the feedback in our updated business plan.

We would like to thank everyone for engaging with MOSL during the consultation period and for the clear drive to work more collaboratively in making this market work for customers.

The 2020/21 Business Plan for members to vote on has been published today, 17 January 2020, in the News & Views page of the MOSL website here.
