REDUCED (Raising Efforts to Drive User Consumption Efficaciously Down)
Project status
In progress
Aims
The REDUCED project will create a searchable Water Efficiency Technology Portal, giving retailers access to emerging technologies that will address customer pain-points, and verified technology developers access to retailers for trial opportunities. The portal will serve as a collaborative tool, enabling users to develop new skills and behaviours, further driving competition and the water efficiency profile of the non-household market.
Project updates
The Portal is now online and ready for retailers to use - please visit https://mif.isleutilities.com/. For anyone interested in registering for the portal, please contact pranoy.dias@isleutilities.com.
In July 2024, the project team improved the 'trial opportunities' page to include newly identified trials and additional information. This included:
- The technology and potential benefits to customers
- How far developed the solution is
- The ideal type of customer they are looking to trial their technology with
- The number of trial units available and potential financial contribution (if applicable)
- Contact details.
There have also been a number of new additions to the 'Technologies' section since launch.
Project REDUCED gave an update at the November 2023 User Forum, which can be seen below, at approximately 46 minutes in:
Webinar
Isle Utilities are hosting a webinar to showcase the portal and a few technology providers, who will present their solutions and trial opportunities. Trading parties will have the chance to engage directly with these providers:
