Bilateral Transactions Programme: News and updates

This page includes the latest news, announcements and outputs from the Bilateral Transactions Programme.

The aim of this page is to be a source of information for contract managers to share with colleagues who would like to know more about the current work of the programmel. We aim to keep this page up to date, but it does not replace the programme updates delivered at our monthly Bilaterals & MPF Reform planning update meetings.

Production environment

Releases coming up:

Phase 15 - implementation scheduled for 16 December 2025.

Pre-production environment

We will continue to release functionality and defect fixes into the pre-production environment between April and July 25. The next pre-prod release is due on 30 April, subject to testing. This will be a silent release to fix defects.

Assurance testing

Assurance testing is scheduled to commence w/c 16 June and will last for six weeks, extending the initial testing window to 31 July. The period between assurance testing and go live enables a second development cycle to account for any bug fixing and/or issues in the pre-production environment during the integration and assurance testing. This will allow us to confidently deliver the release later this year.

Transition to Business as Usual (BAU)

We are working to complete the service transition to BAU on 31st July 2025
