Bilateral Transactions Programme: News and updates
This page includes the latest news, announcements and outputs from the Bilateral Transactions Programme.
The aim of this page is to be a source of information for contract managers to share with colleagues who would like to know more about the current work of the programmel. We aim to keep this page up to date, but it does not replace the programme updates delivered at our monthly Bilaterals & MPF Reform planning update meetings.
Production environment
Next release: Phase 13 - 2 October 2024
The production environment will be unavailable from 4pm on 1 October while we carry out the implementation. From start of business 2 October, the following will be live in the the hub:
- F8 - Wholesaler-to-Wholesaler functionality
- F9 - Retailer-to-Retailer functionality
- Increased visibility of add comment functionality
Releases coming up:
Phase 14 - start of business 13 December 2024 (release on 12 December)
Phase 15 - implementation due in March 2025, exact date TBC
Pre-production environment
Next release - 3 September 2024
Assurance testing
Trading parties are asked to complete assurance testing for the Phase 13 release by Wednesday 18 September. For more information, please see the e-mail communication we sent out.
Phase 14 - general enhancements
The following functionalities have been confirmed for the Phase 14 release on 13 December:
- Display total number of Deferred days on the Landing page of latest deferral event.
- H3 - Additional CON Validation errors to prevent submission of unrelated data items - backend
- B7 - Additional CON Validation errors to prevent submission of unrelated data items - backend
- Linking a No SPID ORID to a SPID when a SPID is created (Eg G2) - BackendG2 – New .W Transaction
- New Transaction T231.W FOLLOWONVISIT
- Site Visit Failure - New valid set options
- Linking service requests
- Attachments within submit transaction + 2 additional file types
- Export ORID Data report
Phase 15 - general enhancements
Scope for Phase 15 is yet to be confirmed, but we MOSL is currently exploring the following functionalities:
- Wholesaler to proceed Transaction this is to unblock wholesalers when they wish to cancel something sitting with a Retailer
- Additional information character limit increase– TP feedback indicates no adverse impact
- B1/B7& B3 – Additional data items
- Data Logging Process
- Escalations process
- GSS payment notification
- User Defined Dashboard
- Permitted Deferrals efficiency changes
- Occupancy Challenges process
- Ability for Retailer to raise an ‘INFORMATION REQUIRED’ activity flag when actioning party
- Include all CSD SLA's in the hub
- Rebrand updates
